Type your SUNet ID / Password and click the Login button.
Click the Timecard link under the Time and Leave section to access your timecard for the current pay period.
Click the Apply Rules button to view your daily and pay period totals, and to see your updated leave balances.
When you have completed your entries, click the Submit and Approve button to submit your timecard, certifying that the entries are accurate.
The Timesheet Submit Confirmation is displayed. Click the Ok button to view your timesheet.
You can also log out of the system, by clicking the Logoff link.
The Timecard page is displayed for the current pay period.
Click the scroll bar if you wish to view your leave balances.
Use the + and – buttons to add an additional row, or to delete data from a row, for a given day.
Repeat, as necessary, until all of the days of your timecard reflect accurate In and Out times and/or leave hours taken.
The Balances and Payable Time Summary sections are updated with your pay period totals.
To make a correction to your timecard, enter the change then click the Apply Rules button again.
To see an audit trail of your entries on the timecard, click the ‘Actions Performed on Timesheet’ link.
Note:
Non-Exempt salaried employees receive their regular semi-monthly salary each pay period plus payment for overtime hours, if applicable. The total number of hours worked plus leave reported for a given pay period must equal or exceed your expected work hours for the pay period. If you have taken leave without pay during the pay period, it must be recorded as a Time Reporting Code or you will be overpaid.
Your accrued leave balances are displayed in the Balances section.
If you have taken leave time during the pay period, click the Time Reporting Code drop down menu.
Select the type of leave that you have taken.
‘LD’ is displayed in the PTA field on each row of your timecard. This indicates that your salary will be charged to the account(s) entered in your Oracle Labor Schedule by your department administrator. Do not modify this field unless instructed by your supervisor or department administrator.
The Punch Total field is populated with your daily totals.
If your department administrator has set up a schedule for you,
click the Apply Schedule button if you wish to populate your timecard with your schedule.
Other Timecard Navigations
To view your timecard from the previous pay period,click the ‘Previous Timecard’ link.
To view your timecard for a specific range of dates, select ‘Range of Dates’ in the View By field and then enter the start and end dates of the period that you wish to view. Click the ‘Refresh’ button to view the timecard(s).
Enter your In and Out times for the days that you worked during the pay period.
As a shortcut, enter military time to report your hours. Ending zeros :00 can be excluded. For example, enter '13' to report a work time of 1:00PM.
Tab to move from cell to cell.
Enter the number of hours of leave taken in the Hours field.
