Worked Time – Make Up Time at Premium Pay
If a supervisor compels an employee to work additional hours, the hours must be paid at the appropriate overtime premium rate. If the employee requests in writing for the additional hours to be applied as make-up time for another work day in the same work week, a timecard edit is necessary to reflect this arrangement. Because the overtime premium is due, hours are exchanged at a ratio of 1 hour worked to 1.5 hours earned.
